Our lodge is a jungle eco-resort situated along the banks of the Moho River in the foothills of the Maya Mountains. We are surrounded by rain-forest, rivers, reefs, and ruins and have a spa offering various therapies as well as yoga and massage. Our guests can take chocolate making tours with a Mayan cacao farmer and his family, go swimming through wet caves to an underground waterfall, explore ruins of the ancient Maya or just relax in a beautiful jungle setting. An opportunity to see the real Belize and meet it's wonderful people.
You will have the opportunity to join in all activities available at the lodge include birding, kayaking, swimming, medicinal plant walks, yoga, massage or simply relaxing in a hammock and enjoying our incredible farm-to-table foods in a jungle paradise. We are only eight miles from the Caribbean – close enough to enjoy snorkelling, diving, or fishing on one of our day trips.
There is an amazing opportunity to interact with the locals in a meaningful way during your stay, as well as experience the jungles, waterfalls and caves of Belize. We offer many tours in support of the local population. From local chocolate makers to mayan cooking classes, medicinal plant healers and more.
We employ approximately 15 full time workers. We are specifically looking for help with our Yoga classes, health spa and massage therapy programme. We split massage revenue 50/50 and exchange morning yoga classes and 15 minute comp welcome massages for free room and board. Suitable person required as soon as possible.
Bungalow accommodation and all meals will be provided.
The resort operates a shuttle bus with trips to the nearest town, Punta Gorda and sometimes to Belize City. There will be plenty of opportunity to join the many tours offered from the resort.
