Description
We are a family of 5 needing some help around the house. Prefer someone who can offer a language exchange in Spanish/Chinese. Must absolutely love children. If you don't speak one of these languages, you might also share an interest in: dance, violin, swimming, baseball, singing. chess, etc. If none of those are a match, send us a message anyway and let us know what talents you have to share.

Stay very cheaply in Hawaii which is very expensive. You will always have 3-4 days off per week to explore the island. Practice your English while we learn from your language - prefer Chinese or Spanish but will consider other languages.

The right traveler will be given plenty of free time and opportunities to explore the island 3-4 days off a week. There is also some flexibility if you have weekly commitments such as classes on island. Our family is happy to spend some time showing you around our lovely island of Oahu. You will have the opportunity to go the beach, go on snorkeling adventures, surf, hike, and other island activities that may be tailored to your interests. Our pasts guests have enjoyed some of the following activities with us: Polynesian Cultural Center, Waimea Bay Falls, Honolulu Zoo, Lanikai Pillbox Hike, Makapu'u Hike, Tour of the Northshore, days at the beaches too numerous to name, and much more.
They have also ventured out to do some less kid friendly things on their own, such as jump from Waimea Bay cliff, hike the Stairway to Heaven, and paraglide from the mountains.
Hawaii offers many wonderful experiences, but it is also very expensive. This makes the home stay exchange opportunity a good one for visitors on a budget. Many people come here and spend most of their money on accommodation and food, and then find that they can only stay a short time. You will have free accommodation and food. You can choose to eat with us as a family, or pack a lunch to take with you during your free time. Additionally, there are lots of free or low costs things to do here, such as hang out at the beach and go on hikes.
