  We are a family that produces firewood and need help in producing this product. Opportunity to experience the beauty of the east coast life of Vancouver Island.

  You will experience the beauty of Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island. Golfing is a passion so if you are interested you can learn this very popular sport. We are a faith based family and have a wonderful Church we attend. There are many other oportunities to experience, hiking. Beaches, kayaking etc. Look forward to meeting you.

  Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

  This host offers accommodation and payment.

  Host has indicated that they will pay at least the minimum hourly wage of their country for each hour worked and that accommodation will also be provided.   Help

  You will help produce the firewood by lifting wood rounds and putting them through the splitting machine. You will work outdoors in beautiful surroundings and nature. You will need to be physically fit and willing to work hard 4 days a week and have weekends off. We prefer a male although if you as a female feel you can handle this kind of work we welcome you. An ability to speak and understand English would be beneficial. We will train you for the job. You will also on days if you are not working in the forest we would expect help in the garden as we have five acres that we live on. This will not include your weekends off unless you would like to.

  Accommodation

  Your accommodation includes your own room and bathroom. Your room also has its own entrance and contains a double bed and a dresser. There also is a fridge for your own special food and treats. The bathroom has a sink toilet shower and bathtub. Your room is very private and is downstairs at the other end of the house. Food to be arranged, some assistance in the Kitchen would be appreciated.

  What else ...

  We live close to golf courses and beaches. There is a bus that we can drive you to, as well as we can take you places. If you have a drivers licence we could possibly arrange for a car.
