  • Description

My name is Luis, I was born and raised in Cozumel. Mexico.

My goal is to build a sustainable farm based on the principles of permaculture.

At the moment there is a plant nursery, we also do large scale composting. (Dry composting) We have sheep, chicken and bees.

At the moment we are working with the desing of the site. And taking a free course on permaculture from Oregon State University

We need hard working people able to help us in all the tasks we need to cover at the farm. We need help with animal care, cleaning and preparing landscape to plant and construction so it would be great if you already have experience in building, carpentry, and space design. We look for permaculture to be our model to develop the farm.

We look for volunteers that are not looking for vacations, we need serious help.

For accommodation you must bring a camping tent and your own sleeping bag, we're in the process of building the proper space for volunteers to stay indoors, but they're not ready jet.

The town in just 5min away in "colectivo" which is the public transport that will pick you up and leave you just in front of the farm from 7am to 9pm.

Smoking and drinking alcohol are not allowed in the ranch.

If you're looking to learn and find yourself in nature, keep your self busty and co-create, this is the place for you!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Cozumel Island was a sacred place to the Mayan, there is a lot of mysticism here.

Live in the jungle like a Maya for a few weeks and help us develop a sustainable/permaculture farm.

You will learn about local culture and swim, snorkel or dive in MANY different tones of crystal clear blues!
