Description
I grew up in southern California and love the beach, but have found that lakeside beaches vs ocean beaches is about the only disadvantage to living in Idaho. Eagle Idaho is located just a few miles from our capital city of Boise and we experience all 4 seasons here (and in true Idaho fashion, sometimes all 4 seasons in one day!). One of the best things about our area is how much opportunity there is for outdoor recreation: hiking, mountain biking, SUP, golfing, horseback riding, four wheeling, skiiing, snowshoeing, boating, fishing, and more are all within reach in our slice of heaven here.
We live in a wilderness preserve with a community pond behind our backyard (one of 8 in our subdivision-a few have waterfalls), so we frequently have ducks, geese, blue heron, osprey, eagles, song birds, and other fowl visiting our sanctuary behind our house. The pond is stocked for catch and release fishing, the community offers a pool for use during summer months, and there are walking/biking paths that connect with additional neighborhoods. Our covered patio in the backyard is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset, and it can all be done from the hot tub as well.
I am seeking help from time to time when we travel with having a caring person watch over our two dogs, Slush (a very gentle 7 yr old husky) and Lily (a fun loving and sweet 5 year old golden retriever). They are only needy in the sense of having humans around...and getting daily pets. They are the best dogs we have ever had, and they are such great friends they keep each other company quite well.Types of help and learning opportunities

You'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the outdoor lifestyle we have come to love. Opportunities abound in the area, starting at the backyard and expanding into the 3 mountain ranges within a few hours drive.
Help
Our dogs are pretty low maintenance and just require being fed and watered twice a day. It is nice if get a devoted half hour of play time just tossing toys around for them to retrieve or riled up enough to run around the house.
Slush and Lily do have free run of the home and a doggy door we keep open at all times for them to get out and exercise and use the potty as needed. What we need the most is some to just keep them company and be there is any emergency happened.
I would also expect a pet sitter to pick up mail/packages everyday. No plants to water because I can't keep any alive. Lol.Languages
