    Description

We are a 116 acre family farm that always extends a warm welcome to those who join us on the land. We try our best to live a sustainable life and so as well as producing a lot of our own food we also produce wind, solar and biofuel energy.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

There are lots of opportunities to learn especially about horticulture and sustainable living. There is a fairly unique opportunity to learn about using recycled used cooking oil in diesel engines

    Help

We will provide workawayers with contact to a wide variety of working initiatives in horticulture, agriculture and renewable energy. Help is primarily needed with a developing market garden on the farm, so workawayers can expect a lot of plant establishment, tending and land work. If workawayers would like to help out occasionally with the farm's flock of sheep and vehicle biofuel business then there will possibilities there also. Sometimes it is hard to predict what will be the priority job of the day however any one around when the hay comes in is sure to get involved there.

    What else ...

We are located on the edge of the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The farm runs to the top of the most easterly hill of the Preseli range and commands views of both Snowdon, Cardigan Bay and Somerset (on a clear day). The Preseli Hills are the mysterious source of the blue stones of Stonehenge.
