Description
We are an establishing permaculture farm located in the bountiful and beautiful Huon Valley in southern Tasmania. Spread across 9 acres of woodland and sloping pasture. We have mixed production with market gardens, orchards, and developing pastured livestock and poultry and a food forest. We grow to eat, sell and use all elements of plants and animals in creative ways across the properties.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We offer an opportunity to see how farming can be different in a uniquely beautiful part of Australia. We sell produce at local farmers markets where guests can interact with other aussie producers and we are on the doorstep of many outdoor activities - bushwalking, fishing, cycling etc

Help on the properties is seasonal and varied. Tasks can include vegie bed preparation, compost and amendment preparations, weeding, pruning and propagation, moving and feeding/watering animals, building and repairing fences, creating woodland tracks, regenerative landscaping, construction projects and general homesteading such as wood chopping and food preserving.

We can accommodate up to 2 adults (no children and no smokers) in our belle tent. We provide some food and share some meals and eat a varied diet so happy to accommodate any food preferences.
