Description
Hello everyone I am Giovanni Cucco agronomist in organic farming and farmer. I live in Castelbuono (PA) Sicily, a medieval town full of historical monuments and museums, nestled in the park of the Madonie, a few kilometers from the sea and mountains.
I live in a country house near the village and can accommodate two people, if equipped with a tent, the number may increase.
During the summer I dedicate myself to the production of ash manna, with some incisions on the trunk we extract the sap. Manna is a natural sweetener, digestive, intestinal regulator and much more.
I grow vegetables to eat seasonal vegetables with a high nutritional content. During the rest of the year I harvest olives, prune trees, sow legumes and arrange the family's land.
For some years now, as an autodidact, I have been studying permaculture, biodynamic agriculture, organic regenerative agriculture and I would like to have the pleasure of meeting those who study these topics.
My mother tongue is Italian and I have been studying German for some time.
Ciao a tutti sono Giovanni Cucco agronomo in agricoltura biologica ed agricoltore. Vivo a Castelbuono (PA) Sicilia, paese medievale ricco di monumenti storici e musei , immerso nel parco delle Madonie, a pochi chilometri da mare e dalle montagne.
Vivo in una casa di campagna in prossimitá del paese e posso ospitare due persone, se muniti di tenda, il numero puó aumentare.
Durante l'estate mi dedico alla produzione della manna da frassino, con delle incisioni sul tronco si estrae la linfa. La manna e' un dolcificante naturale, digestivo, regolatore intestinale e tanto altro.
Coltivo ortaggi per mangiare vegetali di stagione ad alto contenuto nutraceutico. Nel resto dell'anno mi occupo della raccolta delle olive, potature di alberi, semina di leguminose e sistemazione dei terreni di famiglia.
Da un po di anni, da autodidatta, studio argomenti di permacoltura, agricoltura biodinamica, agricoltura organica rigenerativa e vorrei avere il piacere di confrontarmi con chi studia queste tematiche.
La mia lingua madre é l'italiano e da un po di tempo sto studiando il tedesco.
