    Description

Hurricane Maria left thousands of homes and businesses destroyed, and the project has committed to helping the long-term recovery efforts on the island after the island.

We are currently rebuilding Primary School, a school serving the local Dominican community. When it is finished, it will be disaster resilient, allowing children to learn, explore and grow in safe classrooms for years to come. As we continue the need that exists on the island, we need your help!

Volunteering here is completely free, and we provide accommodation and three meals per work day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Not only will you get to meet volunteers from all over the world, but you'll pick up new skills, help the community in need, and get to enjoy the island's natural beauty and tranquility. Typical tasks include mucking and gutting, mold sanitation, flooring, and painting. Don't worry if it's something you've never done - our experienced site supervisors and trained team leaders will show you the ropes and everything you need to have a wonderful experience!

Spots fill up quickly, so don't miss out on the opportunity to help out today!
