    Description

Volunteers are expected to help with anything from clearing, digging, planting, harvesting, painting, wood chopping and general maintenance depending on the weather and time of year. We prefer stays of 4 weeks initially or longer if everything works out. We would particularly like to hear from strong people, who love outdoors. During the summer months we host weddings and volunteers would be expected to help set up, tend bonfires and keep the tiki torches lit.
We also have 4 cats, 34 Chickens, 2 Turkey 6 Ducks and 2 Donkeys which we would love help with.
Accommodation is provided in a separate 3 bedroom apartment with own cooking facilities TV & internet access etc., which gives volunteers the opportunity to cook their own meals, sometimes, but (usually) we all share meals together. Nearest pub & shop 1 KM. Various bikes provided.
Only volunteers who are welcome in the EU or who have proper and legitimate Visas to visit Ireland may apply.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE PERSONAL INSURANCE

On site we have professional gardeners and in the house we have a professional chef, the house itself is an important historic house and volunteers are expected to avail of all our experience. In addition to this we are ideally situated for excursions to Kilkenny Dublin etc.
