    Description

My husband and I are retired dentists and we live on a small farm in a very beautiful area. We have a few rare breed sheep and about 10 acres of land. We also have two cats and a dog. We have recently moved into our newly built house which is beside Loch Awe.
We live two miles from Kilchrenan which is a small village that is home to multiple workaway-hosts. Kilchrenan is visited frequently by tourists because of the great leisure activities in the area such as walking, climbing, cycling and fishing.

In June, July and August help is needed on the land with grass cutting, weed control and general maintenance. Also there could be project work involving some construction.
Throughout the year the woodlands need to be managed which involves tree-felling and logging.
Having just moved in to our newly built house there are many tasks and projects to be done.

The closest town is Oban, which is a fishing port from where ferries serve the outer islands. Oban is a great place for tourists, it has a well known whisky-distillery, historical castles and a replica of the Colosseum.

We are a non-smoking household and would prefer applicants to be non-smoking as well.

You will be treated as a member of the family this means we will be living/eating/working and enjoying the experience together!
