Hello,

We are Sara and Jane, two individuals who always strive to experience local vibes while traveling. Exploring different cultures and embracing the joys of travel have always held significant importance in our lives. We prefer to travel with the intention of meeting locals and making a positive impact wherever we go.

We both have a natural affinity for farming and currently own a small permaculture and natural farm in Korea. In February, we moved to a rural area to establish our own ecological community, where community members work on the farm and engage in ecological tries together. It has been several months since its inception, and the community is flourishing.

Living in our community has provided us with opportunities to learn carpentry from a skilled craftsman who constructed our house. Additionally, we are now trying to produce documentaries about transition technologies such as water purification, eco-friendly toilets, and insect hotels.

As farmers, we have relatively less work during the winter season. Therefore, we have decided to travel to Spain, a country we both visited several years ago. Our goal is to experience local ecological projects and farms. We have already booked our flight tickets!

Apart from our passion for building self-reliant communities, we also enjoy enriching our lives with various activities. Sara takes pleasure in cooking plant-based dishes and carpentry and moreover previously worked as a gardener at a botanical garden in Seoul. Jane enjoys working on farms and learning from others. Jane have worked as online marketer for years and agricultural data analyst for some years also. We both find satisfaction in creating things on our own, tending to our plants, and taking time to engage in drawing and writing. Furthermore, we have developed a deep appreciation for yoga and meditation.
