Hello dear hosts,
My name is Robert. I´m from Germany and want to spend my university vaccation in Ireland. After my graduation from school I already spent six months travelling in Ireland and I absolutely love this country! After waiting for so long for my trip it´s finally going to happen in August :)
What can I tell you about me?
I´m a young, friendly guy who is open-minded and anxious to see what I will experience throughout my time on the island.
I´m very experienced in dog sitting because I do professionall dog sports with my german shepherd. I train him for four years now and we already passed an official test.
My second big hobby is DIY and handcrafting. Every once in a while I buy old furniture or have another idea for DIYing and spend my afternoons renovating that stuff or developing my ideas. Go check out some of my projects at my gallery :)
I also know what hard work is. In my holidays I worked in a plumbing and heating company and I helped building bathrooms, heating systems and water pipes. In those six months travelling I did a lot of gardening and household chores, I even spend some weeks on a sheep farm. The best thing there was definitely giving 200 sheeps their vitamins...!
I´m currently studying energy and process technology at TU Berlin and I will graduate next year. Im always curious about science and our environment, it doesn´t matter if its going outside for hikes enjoying nature or talking about physics with a postdoc in a rental car on the way from Dresden to Berlin...
I hope you now have a better idea of who I am and I´m really looking forward being back to this wonderful country!
