Hello everybody !

My name is Gerald but everyone calls me Dje. Born in France and originally from Mauritius, I lived in these two countries but I have never been able to take root anywhere, I'm like a canoe that stops for a while and leaves for new adventures.
I've already spent 2 years exploring South America but I travel slowly so I've discovered only 5 countries and hope to take advantage of this trip to discover the rest of the continent.

The last corner of the earth in which I stopped was in the mountains of the Pyrenees, in Ariege. It's an amazing place that brings together all the people who reject the consumer society, hippies, punks, anarchists, many artists, travelers and marginalized from all sides, the atmosphere is literally extraordinary ! But I no longer want to be in rejection of society, I want to feel in harmony with my environment and go towards love, peace and acceptance, favoring autonomy rather than fight. That’s why I decided to go back on the road and try to join projects that would help make me autonomous while remaining open to the world.

I would like to stay as open as possible about life and what it could offer. I will be interested in all types of volunteering even if I feel particularly attracted to permaculture and bioconstruction, I will accept any project that resonates with me.
I don't have a specific destination, a return date or a specific goal, I just want to remain open to opportunities that will arise during meetings, which is why it will not be easy to predict the time I will spend participating in a project, only experience can give me a better idea.

Ps: A friend helped me to write this description, in fact I speak english like a spanish cow (french expression) but I like to learn languages and the time spent to South America has already allowed me to learn enough spanish and portuguese to share my thoughts 😊

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I participated in a wood frame construction training as well as another complementary straw and insulation construction training, I also participated in several wwoofing including one for the construction of a wooden dome and others concerning permaculture. Having lived 2 years in the mountains and worked in the maintenance of hiking trails, I learned some notions of lumberjack and pruning.
