Beschreibung

Energetic, dynamic, adventurous, passionate, flexible and very determined are probably the words people would mostly use to talk about me! Traveling has always been a passion. (Europe, Asia, Africa, North/South America). I do believe that mingling with the locals is the best way to discover a country, its people and culture.
After working with teenagers and young adults for many years, I will retire in June. French is my first language but have taught English for over 20 years. I worked as a vice-principal in high schools too. I organized many student exchanges (cultural/language) during all those years.
I had the privilege to be the Director of an International Language School in Canada (ILSC Montreal). Therefore, on a day to day basis, I was in contact with students from all over the world. It turned out to be a very valuable experience.
I also know about tourism since I worked as a receptionist for a important hotel resort. Plus, having a few good friends who are world tour guides has allowed me to be quite familiar with the tourism industry.
I also love cooking, gardening and home decorating. Like to be in a laid back artistic environment. (not an artist myself)
I have a very healthy lifestyle but it doesn't stop me from enjoying life! I am into sports a lot and eat very healthily. ( not vegetarian but wouldn't mind).
Can't wait to live my first experience with Work Away!

Malta is my first choice for this summer. Visited Malta in the winter last year and simply fell in love with the place!
