Hello! My name is Massimiliano Piras, I am an Italian guy originally from Sardinia (Nuoro), in Italy.
I am 26 years old and since I was a child I have worked with children and youngsters in summer camps. From these experiences I learnt the valure of working as a team, communicating effectively and the importance of creating a positive and stimulating environment for the youth. I also attended the High School of Human Sciences in my city and now I am a Qualified and Specialized "Hairdresser" and Wellness operator. I am very excited to learn new jobs and I have a positive attitude toward new challenges.
I have worked in the past as kitchen porter and waiter for several years, as a Security Officer and Fire Officer (with qualification) at events and concerts. In addition, I have also worked in the construction industry, from carpentry to house renovations (indoor and outdoor) and many more. I am a very easy going, down-to-earth, polite, respectful, sociable person and I like helping others and being in contact with people, nature and animals.
I am looking for a Workaway experience that allows me to grow personally, learn and actively contribute to projects that I am passionate about. In particular, I would like to improve my English but I am also open to learning other languages as I am very open to new challenges and opportunities. Helping others is like a mission to me, so I am ready to make my skills available and to do my best to support the needs of the project and the host. I am a flexible person, able to learn quickly and willing to work in different fields, from gardening to teaching to supporting children, but also in the kitchen or in event organization or outdoor work, constructions and different projects. If you are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person who is ready to commit to any type of activity, I will be happy to get in contact with you. I am also available starting from March/April 2025.

I enjoy listening to and helping others, and I consider myself a humble, sensitive, and polite person. As a child, I worked as an Animator, engaging with children and teenagers in recreational and play activities. I love getting involved, exploring new places, trying new things, and meeting people from all over the world. I am a qualified Hairdresser specializing in the wellness sector, with computer skills and experience in construction, gardening, home maintenance, and fire safety for events, festivals, and concerts. I have also worked with visually impaired individuals, connecting with them to better understand and support their daily challenges.
