Dear everyone! :D
My name is Maja Ingvartsen, I am 21 years old, and I am born and raised in Denmark, where I am also currently living.
14 years ago, when I was only a kid, my parents took my brother and I backpacking through Thailand for 2 months. This was a life defining trip for me, since I have then always had a dream of traveling the world. I will be attending university in September, so it is very important for me to go on at least a few adventures before that.

I am generally and easygoing and outgoing person, with the right amount of curiosity. When I found workaway, I just new that this was gonna have to be my next adventure, where I can both develop new skills, tune already existing skills and just generally gift myself and others with a whole lot of new experiences. I am quite the extrovert, and I am definitely energized by being around people, and I love to make new friendships across nationalities, genders, interests and so on.

I hope we will make a great adventure together.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have been working service since I was 13 years old. Mostly being a barista, but also light cooking. I am currently working at a school as a substitute teacher, where I teach, play, organize and spread positive vibes with kids in the age of 5-11 years old. I love this! My many years of working has given me a great work ethic, and and spirit that is not easily broken down. I am a peoples person, and me working mentioned jobs, has just enforced that. I love a challenge, so even though I might not have tried something before, I will just see it as a option for development rather than an obstacle.
I am fluent in English and danish, and I do have experience with teaching both as well as math.

Was noch ...

I am a creative soul who loves thinking outside the box. Whether it's painting, sculpting, sewing, cooking - I love it! And I love meeting likeminded people, who are not scared of taking a risk. I do also have a soft spot for a cold beer and a game of any given board game. Chess, backgammon, uno, you name it!
