Hi there! I'm Joseph, an easygoing and old soul who loves exploring new places, working with my hands, and soaking up fresh air in the great outdoors. Whether it's lending a hand with a project, learning something new, or just sharing stories over a meal, I genuinely enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and being part of a community. I'm always up for an adventure and happy to get stuck into any task with a positive attitude and an open mind.

Both Peggy and I have a keen interest in languages and language exchange, with both of us studying German in High School (albeit being a little rusty now). I (Joseph) also learnt Portuguese for a few months before visiting Brazil for a month (not nearly long enough) in October of last year and furthering my conversation skills. Although neither of us possess enough knowledge to teach a language, we are very keen on language exchange as we understand how amazing it can be for learning new things about people and their culture - and learning something new is always fun !

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Hi, I'm Peggy. I have a strong background in environmental science, with a good understanding of sustainable agriculture, soil health, and how climate and landscape affect local practices. I’ve worked in a mix of roles including bartending, kitchen work, consultancy, and front desk work which have all helped me build strong communication and people skills. I also spent a lot of time outdoors growing up and being around animals, so I’m comfortable with physical work and really enjoy being active.

Hey, I'm Joseph. I joined the Australian Army straight out of year 12 and spent nearly 3 years working in logistics and providing various humanitarian relief in and out of the country. Since then, I've worked in warehouses, real estate and a few different jobs at a ski hill including brush cutting, lift operations and working at an outdoor aerial park. All of these jobs have really helped me build a well-rounded set of physical and people skills that allow me to feel comfortable doing any type of work, be it inside or out.

Was noch ...

As mentioned before, both Peggy and I love being outdoors and love anything that involves being out of the house! This includes sports, hiking, surfing, snow sports and anything that allows us to connect with others. However, on those days where being outdoors might not be so nice, we also have no problem with relaxing inside and tending to a home in any way we can.

We also share a strong passion for cooking and strongly believe that nothing is better for bringing people together than a good home cooked meal where stories can be exchanged and laughs can be had.
