Hello! My name is Bryce and I am 24 years old. After graduating from my undergraduate program, I am looking for opportunities to gain more experience with animal care, sustainable living, permaculture, and cooking!!! I also have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and horses!
*Here's a little more background about myself: I received my bachelor's degrees ([English Literature] and [Linguisitcs]) at the University of California Berkeley in the winter of 2023. I am currently waiting to hear back from graduate schools and will be spending time in Europe in the meantime. My previous workaway experience was very formative and I am seeking more opportunities to learn and share stories with others. I think most would describe me as a very positive and resilient person, and I find it easy to get along with people of all backgrounds! I also really enjoy hard work and take pleasure in completing tasks to the best of my ability.

We are two 21 year olds born and raised in Southern California. In our years after high school, we have spent a lot of time traveling and camping which has greatly furthered our interest in sustainable living. We are both committed to being life-long learners; we seek experiential knowledge of things that aren't typically taught on college campuses. We are both in love with the great outdoors and are very content with a simple lifestyle. In short, we are self-motivated both have a genuine passion for knowledge and nature!

For Bryce:
-Animal care (dogs, horses, chickens, and goats especially)
-Experince with tools/some building experience (I have been a part of many projects [stairs, dog house, landscaping] but have not lead or designed any building projects alone.
-Cooking; I love to cook and am always excited to learn new dishes!
-Following directions/organization/communication/etc.
-English: fluent : Spanish: Beginner/Intermediate




We both have been fortunate enough to be exposed to Permaculture Farming and sustainability at a young age. Chris, has worked at permaculture farms near home, as well as in South America and Asia. He grew up working a permaculture farm with his family and has practiced sustainability his whole life. Bryce has spent numerous summers helping his grandparents work their horse/goat stables in Northern California. We both are hard workers and have always been attracted to outdoor lifestyles (camping, sports, travel, etc.). Chris is currently working towards his bachelor's degree in cognitive neuroscience and Bryce is working on a bachelor's in English with an emphasis in linguistics. We both agree that one of our shared strengths is that we are always open to new information and are not afraid to ask questions, therefore we thrive in Workaway environments.
