My name is Boone. I love to travel and meet new people, face challenges, share stories, and above all, learn more about the world. I grew up in central Texas and took a degree in biology at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. After graduating, I worked as a private tutor before moving to rural upstate New York to work as a groundskeeper at a Buddhist temple. I have spent time working in bakeries, coffee roastaries, and organic farms, and enjoy alternative ways of living. I'm easy going, flexible, ready for new experience. I like to have fun and living meaningfully, and I don't let external circumstances get in the way of doing that.
I am a confident carpenter and handy man with experience in a variety of construction work. I love building things and working with my hands! I have also spent time managing a small organic farm and would love to contribute my time and any knowledge I can to your farming or permaculture project. Above all, I love to teach, learn and practice new skills, and I'm always ready to take the plunge on something new. Let's talk!
