Hello!
I am a recent university graduate based out of Vancouver, Canada. I am very passionate and consider myself a big thinker with lots of interests in social justice, philosophy, art, and health. But I am also light-hearted and find value in relaxing and finding joy in hobbies and community. I love knitting and reading and being in nature. Being raised in Canada, I am familiar with being exposed to many different cultures and ways of life. I find other cultures and languages truly fascinating and believe that there is so much learning to be done just in meeting diverse people! This is a part of what motivates me to travel.

I love absorbing new languages and practices which teach me more about life around the world. My favourite part of travelling is immersing myself with people and getting to know a new place intimately and truly. I am interesting in knowing what local life is about and learning from others.

I have lots of experience in working in restaurants and the food industry in Canada so I am a very reliable and hard worker; I like to be busy! The summer before the pandemic I worked in a volunteer position with a school in southern Italy that helped to teach migrants and refugees Italian language and culture. I also taught virtual French classes to university students. Most recently I was an English teacher in Korea. I also have experience doing health promotion outreach work on my university campus. I am looking to bring some of my skills to your project and build new ones along the way.

I will be starting a masters program in France in September so I am using the time I have to take in the magic that is South America! Show me around!
