Hello!
I’m a 26 years old Portuguese and I hold a Degree in Law. For the past 4 years, I've lived in Lisbon, Izmir, Madrid, Warsaw, Vienna and Stockholm, to study or work. Now, I believe it's time to put my career/academic plans on hold so I can expand my worldview.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
I have a strong passion for travelling and learning more about the political, social and economic realities of today’s societies.
After university, internships, publications and a job, I realized I want to do more of what makes me genuinely happy and fulfilled while I'm young and without big commitments or responsabilities – getting to know cultures, connecting with interesting people, being adventurous, independent and free!

FUTURE PLANS
I just wrapped up a 9-month solo adventure in Southeast Asia.
Now I am looking for Workaway opportunities in India, Nepal, Tibet and Bali starting April 2024:
1. ENVIRONMENT related projects as this is the field I would like to specialize in; I would love to learn more about waste management, coral reef restoration, biodiversity conservation, climate change and everything in-between.
2. HOSPITALITY, as I genuinely like to engage meaningfully with new people and make them feel seen, heard, understood and supported in whatever way needed.
3. SOCIAL MEDIA, as I have worked for over 3 yeards with publications in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and I produce travel-related written content. Personal website/portfolio will be launched soon.
4. YOGA, MEDITATION and SOUND HEALING learning experiences as I want to expand on these practices. Hopefully, I will complete a Meditation course with a University until March and a Yin YTT in April.
5. CULTURAL EXCHANGE.

I'm also considering the working holiday visas in NZ and AUS.

- Swim with a whale and other creatures that both fascinate and scare me✔️
- Become an activist for causes I believe in, namely animal rights and nature conservation
- Learn how to surf and scuba dive
- Fully adopt a zero waste lifestyle

- Do a meditation retreat in a Buddhist Temple✔️

OTHER THINGS ABOUT ME:
- I’m vegetarian and trying to reduce my impact on the environment by being more mindful about my choices
- I respect all creatures (including the ones I’m very scared of ie. spiders), although I have a special love for Cats
- I practice Yoga, meditation and journaling daily
- I usually finish the day with some tea and a good movie or book
- I love watching sunsets/sunrises, walking in the beach, cannoeing and hiking
- I dream of having a campervan one day with a significant other
