Hi!

I'm a happy, ambitious and curious girl from Sweden who loves talking and making connections with others. I put a great value in health, sports and human relationships. I study Biotechnology at a University in Sweden, but are going to take half a year off to travel in central America.

Three years ago I visited Peru, Ecuador and Columbia and did some Workaway in several places and loved it! I have previously also lived in Spain where I learnt Spanish. I got to meet people from all around the world and learnt about new cultures and different ways of living, but it also made me realize that there is so much more to learn. That's why I'm really looking forward to get back on the road again and travel to new exciting places. Nature and the environment are great passions I keep very close to my heart, making it even more exciting to explore the wild life Central America has to offer.

So why do I want to do this again? As I mentioned earlier, I love meeting people from different countries and cultures. I want to learn more about what's happening in the world and I also want to improve my Spanish even more. Last time I went “Workawaying” I stayed for a sorter amount of time at each place, but this time I’m excited to stay for longer and get a deeper relationship to the place I visit.

I am a happy, responsible and committed person who loves and find it easy to talk to and bond with other people. I currently study a Master´s in Biotechnology, and is specialised in Food and Nutrition science.

I have previously worked for a company specialized in Artificial Technology where I've been working as an assistant, receptionist and now also a recruiter. I have worked with sales and service at a one of the biggest tiles, bathroom and kitchen butiques in the North. I have also worked at cafés several times. I have learnt how to handle money, cash and customers, and to handle stressful situations. With good attitude and always the mood on the top, I can take care of customers in the best way.

I speak Swedish, English and Spanish. Some years ago I lived in Spain where I studied Spanish and worked as an English teacher. I have a drive to develop and work well both in groups and individually. I also have a great interest in sports and have practiced various sports throughout my life, mainly floorball. In high school I also studied nature with a focus on sports, health and leadership and all these parts describe me well as a person. I'm not afraid to put the working gloves on and use the body to work. I have always loved animals. Every summer when I was younger, some friends and I spent a week on a farm where we got to take care of the animals, the plantation and lots of other things in the yard. The farm had hens, rabbits, horses, cows, cats, sheep and dogs. It was a while ago, so I might need some guidance in taking care of bigger animals, but I'm a fast learner and is always eager to do my best.
