Hello! I'm Jenny and i'm 28 from Yorkshire in the North of England.

I love being in nature and learning about wildlife and conservation. In my spare time I love visiting different nature reserves, hiking, bird watching, cooking and going to my allotment.

For work, I am an adviser for a nature conservation organisation, working with all kinds of different people to manage protected habitats sustainably, a role which I love. I have managed to book 2 months off work and can't wait to spend the opportunity travelling around Canada. I will be travelling with my friend for the first 2 weeks, then travelling solo.

I am very excited to explore such a beautiful country, meet new people along the way and get stuck into some unique experiences!

I have done Workaways in America, France, New Zealand and the UK and absolutely loved the experiences I have had.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a big foodie and I really love cooking. I'm happy to cook for larger or smaller groups of people. I have experience of cooking for large groups and food is a passion of mine!

I also love working in the garden or on an allotment. I have recently got an allotment in England, and I am keen to learn more and increase my knowledge of growing food sustainably. I've done Workaways before where i've helped with a range of gardening and allotment tasks, which i've really enjoyed.

My job is advising on sustainable land management so i have a keen interest in conservation and managing land for nature. I've also carried out a range of practical conservation tasks- from planting trees to bramble bashing, so i'm very happy get stuck into more physical/hands on tasks.

I also have experience working in hospitality- I have cleaned guest bedrooms and done a range of housekeeping tasks in a hostel and a ski chalet.

I will pretty much get stuck into anything!
