Hello,
I'm Hannah, 20 and from Germany. I arrived in New Zealand beginning of February.
I am a happy, easy going and very social person. I love traveling and have just discovered this for myself in the last 3 years. What I like most about traveling is learning how other cultures live, getting to know new people, places and broadening my horizons by speaking another language.
So far, I have lived in Ireland, spent six months volunteering in a hospital, worked with horses and dogs as a volunteer and as an au pair in the US for the past year (child care).
I would like to gain new experiences and New Zealand has always been a country I want to experience because of its beautiful nature and culture. I am new to workaway, but the opportunity to exchange in this way immediately captivated me!
In my freetime I like to be active: I love to go hiking, I dance and teach dance in my hometown, I like to be around people but I also like to be calm and for example paint. I also grew up with animals, which makes me very happy to be around with.

I have already gained a lot of different work experiences.
I started tutoring at an early age (especially in languages and math), worked as a courier and as a waiter in a hotel restaurant. I also looked after four horses and a dog for many years. Last year, for example, I helped my grandparents raise a puppy, and at home I always take care of our chickens.
I am experienced in gardening as I grew up with a big garden and I cook a lot with my mom for the family or having friends over.
I have a lot of experience working with children, as I have babysat for years and also worked as an AuPair/Nanny in the US.
In addition, I can do practical things: I have basic knowledge in working with wood, can change tires and am a very safe driver. I have helped with wallpapering and painting, and have lots of experience with "housekeeping".
My work in the hospital has taught me the basics of medicine and my retail jobs have given me good customer service skills.
