I'm looking for a volunteer project preferably in Egypt, Libanon, South Oman, Morocco or Tunisia in February or March. I'd like to work with animals, do farming, manual work or intercultural exchange

Beschreibung

Hi, my name is Esther. I am open minded, warm-hearted, and can easily adapt to ways of living that are different from my own, and be respectful with them.

I've joined some volunteer projects with animals, farming/harvesting, manual work and social work in Indonesia, Turkey, Oman, Russia and Estonia, and I lived in the US and Indonesia (in the Muslim society) before.
I'm an adventurous person and I like trying new things. I love learning about everyday life in a new, yet unknown place, become part of it and make new friends around the world. I really enjoy spending time in the nature far from the hectic city life.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I can take care of animals. I had pets as a child, have done horse riding for many years and helped on a farm in Estonia with horses and cows.
I'm good at garden and farm work such as planting, harvesting and cutting plants, fruits, bushes, etc. I have harvested apples, berries and olives before and have worked in my own small garden and my family's garden.
I care for a sustainable life style.
I can do hard work. I like to be physically active while working, and like to see and feel what I've done at the end of the day.
I like to spend time out in the nature. I also enjoy quiet, isolated areas.
I can drive a car, an automatic motorcycle, a small bus and have driven a tractor before.
I've painted walls and furniture before, and can put up furniture.
I have a bachelor in Sociology, and I'm good with people. I really enjoy being around other people and connecting with them. I speak four languages, have some travel experience (also outside of the Western world). I generally like to help others in order to make them happy. I have worked in a refugee accommodation, volunteered with elderly people and have taught children and adults English, German, and basic Math.
