By way of introduction, my name is Ava Villarreal and I'm a current college student looking for volunteer work abroad. My major is pre-nursing and I'm deeply passionate about helping people as I aspire to dedicate my life to working in healthcare. All my life I've volunteered within my community, but now I have a calling to lend helping hands outside my community. I'm a very adventurous individual who feels complete when in nature and I love to explore the unknown. I desire to see the world and I'm excited to get out of my comfort zone and to see first-hand other ways of life.

Hello!! My name is Allison Henke and I am currently a University student pursuing my major in International Business. I am looking for an opportunity to throw myself into work, experience new things and meet new people. I've worked all of high school and college so I know the meaning of hard work, customer service and efficiency! I am driven by my passion to see the world, make exciting new memories and meet new people. My friends and family would describe me as happy, open-minded, adventurous, fearless, and kind!! I'm a quick study, and will be able to adapt to new environments and skills with ease. Can't wait to travel to you!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a certified nursing assistant at a nursing facility and have plenty of experience with caring for people. My duties as a CNA included administering care for the residents, shower care, perineal care, dressing, undressing, feeding, taking vitals, charting, and reporting concerns or changes to my charge nurse. Working at a nursing facility exposed me to various working conditions, and I'm not afraid of "getting dirty" and doing what has to be done. Working in healthcare means you have to put your patients first above everything. This taught me how to manage my time properly to get tasks done within my shift, or sometimes after if the day was busy. Additionally, I've been learning Spanish for about 5 years and I can intermediately speak Spanish.

We adore to hiking, exploring, working out. We live an active lifestyle and hope to perhaps be able to maintain a workout schedule while abroad if possible! We also love cooking and eating adventurously!
