Beschreibung

Hey, my name is Annika. I‘m 22 years old and from Germany. A few months ago I was travelling around Asia. I'm currently in Honduras and at the middle of April 2024 I would like to travel to Mexico. I want to learn, make new experiences and meet new people.

I´m not a craftwoman by trade but have the eagerness to muck in and aquire new skills in whatever field. I started horse back riding when I was 3 years old and had my own horse as well. I´m also very interested in sustainability and new ways of living. In my free time I like to do yoga, meet friends, read, go on walks and spend time in nature.

The place I´m looking for is ideally one that hosts a whole bunch of Workawayers and is near the sea.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have been horseback riding since I was three years old. Later I trained young horses and teached children to ride horses. So I have no problem with working with children and animals.
While I was travelling around Central America I had a few Workaways on farms. I learned a lot about planting, gardening and also to take care of animals every day. It was so much fun for me. I also worked at two hostels where I had to work at the reception, behind the bar and I had to take the guests on trips. I also did a lot of cleaning stuff there. I enjoyed my time in the hostels so much especially because I love it to get in contact with other travellers and the vibe in hostels is always the best.
Another passion I have is diving. In march 2022 I did my rescue diver licence and I want to improve my diving skills more. It would be my biggest dream to work at a diving school.
But I would say my biggest attribute is my desire to learn new skills. It's a big part of my motivation for doing workaway, that I want to learn different skills.
