Ich bin gerade

Beschreibung

Hi! My name is Andra, and not that I would need a shorter version of my name, but I also go by "Andy".

After traveling a lot as a student, I let bills and the norm of society influence the past 5+ years of my life, where I stayed in my home country and went to work and payed my taxes like a good citizen, just to confirm that this lifestyle is nothing for me.

I never minded working, I think I am a quite good worker actually, but I am way to curious to find out what else is out there, witch is why I can never stay in one place for too long. Life is too short to settle down :)

Unfortunately I didn’t learn a profession to allow me to be a digital nomad (what would have been awesome since bills still need to be payed) which is why I have come back to this platform, to be able to travel on a low budget and also meet cool people.

I had the best experiences in the past and I am looking forward to making new ones.

I am open to working anything (that is legal and morally acceptable), but I do have my strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths:
- I studied and worked for the past 2 years as an architect. So I like to think that the invested time into that was not in vain and I have an understanding for decoration, renovation, construction and anything that has to do with architecture.
- I worked for 3+ years in hotels and restaurants and did every5ing from bartender, waiter, some breakfast cooking (for breakfast buffet in hotels) to housekeeping, receptionist, and my last position in the field was duty management for a hotel.
- I also have some experience in social work with families and children. I don’t have children of my own, but so far I always had good connections with the children I met and spent time with.

Weaknesses:
Honestly, anything else 😅 but I am always willing and curious to learn something new.

I can speak some languages.

I have a masters degree in architecture and I can design houses :) With that also comes the skills of graphic design.

I also have gathered 4 years of experience working at hotels. I can do service, reception, and housekeeping (if necessary). In all fields, I have been also trained in the position of management.
