Hello, we are a family. Myself and my son Pedro whom is 15 years old, and our dog, Flecha (1 year) We live in a big and nice house, with beautiful views and garden.
In our house we try to make life very easy, we all like to enjoy what we do. We appreciate having guests, there are usually friends spending their time at our place.
We try to live a healthy and sustanaible life. I practice yoga (meditation, asana, pranayama, bhakti...) and i am interested in chamanism, spirituality and personal development. I also like to investigate the properties of plants and take care of my selfI with them. l love to share, enjoy and learn with you!
We live in Fresnedillas de la Oliva, a little town (1500 people) quite close to Madrid (45 km). There are many buses during throughout the day connecting you with the town. It is situated in the west mountains. Climate here is not as hot as in Madrid and the landscape is very beatiful. You can find holm oak, juniper, lavander or rockrouse, the whole area is very interesting to spot birds.
Nature around is beatiful, but what we like most of this town is its social life and network. It's full of young families that are trying to build a community, supporting each other and sharing their leisure. in the town there used to be many cultural activities that stop with the pandemia and that are starting again.
Pedro speaks little english, and what I I would really like is that he improves his english while workawayers are with us (speaking with him and giving him proper lessons). We would like someone that shares the house with us and that colaborates in the care of the house and cooking. We can arrange times and responsabilites together. We are very independent and caring, and we will love a person that is the same.
Pedro is 15, what likes most is to hang around. He also likes sports, specially basketball and surf, and music, he is into Hip Hop (he listens and writes).
We are looking for native english persons or that speak very good english and are not Spanish or Italian (Pedro is half italian and speaks it perfectly)

Arbeit
The main reason we would like a volunteer to spend sometime with us is because we want Pedro and myself to practise english. We want to share housewok and cooking.
We like meeting people and we believe that hosting someone at home will be a very rich experience.
We want the volunteer to feel free and enjoy being in our country. We would like the volunteer to be a self-sufficient and dynamic person.
