Beschreibung
For 40 years, our association has been taking care of volunteer workcamps in the Sud Provence Alpes Côte-d'Azur region and in the Mediterranean basin. Surrounded by professionals, the volunteers work to enhance the historical heritage and the environment. The team of facilitators strives to give them an intercultural experience in the service of heritage in the heart of Provence.
Depuis 40 ans, notre association s’occupe de chantiers de bénévoles en région Sud Provence Alpes Côte-d’Azur et dans le bassin méditerranéen. Entourés de professionnels, les bénévoles œuvrent pour la valorisation du patrimoine historique et de l’environnement. L’équipe d’animateur s’applique à leur faire vivre une expérience interculturelle au service du patrimoine en plein cœur de la Provence.

Volunteer camps last three weeks, during which volunteers live and work together. It is a life experience that brings together people from all geographical and social backgrounds, with different backgrounds and ages. A worksite welcomes between 10 and 12 volunteers accompanied by two facilitators, a technical facilitator for the worksite part and a group life facilitator. If in previous years, we were very busy, the current period has slowed down the registration of volunteers on our sites. There are still vacancies for most construction sites. People wishing to spend holidays committed to promoting solidarity, interculturality and exchange, will find a place in one of the many projects that await you.
Les chantiers de bénévoles durent trois semaines, pendant lesquels des volontaires vivent et travaillent ensemble. Il s'agit d'une expérience de vie qui regroupe des personnes de tous horizons géographiques et sociaux, de formation et âges différents. Un chantier accueille entre 10 et 12 bénévoles accompagnés par deux animateurs, un.e animateur.rice technique pour la partie chantier et un.e animateur.rice vie de groupe.
Si les années précédentes, nous étions très sollicités, la période actuelle a freiné l’inscription de bénévoles sur nos chantiers. Il reste des places vacantes pour la plupart des chantiers. Les personnes désireuses de passer des vacances engagées pour faire valoir la solidarité, l’interculturalité et l’échange, trouverons une place dans l’un des nombreux projets qui vous attendent.

This year, around ten projects are taking place in the Vaucluse, the Alpes de Haute Provence, the Bouches du Rhône and the Var. Dry stones, calade or traditional masonry, the volunteers come to discover a traditional technique and participate in the maintenance of the Provençal heritage. Choice of: Restoration of riverside walls at Le Thor; Construction of dry stone retaining walls in Malemort du Comtat and Pernes les Fontaines; Construction of a traditional lime masonry wall in Chateauneuf de Gadagne and Saint Tropez; Installation of a cobbled street in Oppède le Vieux and Volonne; Restoration of the Saint Michel chapel in La Roque Alric and the Saint Georges chapel in Alleins.
Cette année, une dizaine de chantiers a lieu dans le Vaucluse, les Alpes de Haute Provence, les Bouches du Rhône et le Var. Pierres sèches, calade ou maçonnerie traditionnelle, les bénévoles viennent découvrir une technique traditionnelle et participent au maintien en l’état du patrimoine provençal.
Au choix : Restauration de murs en bord de rivière au Thor ; Construction de mur de soutènement en pierre sèche à Malemort du Comtat et Pernes les Fontaines ; Construction d'un mur en maçonnerie traditionnelle à la chaux à Chateauneuf de Gadagne et à Saint Tropez ; Mise en place d’une calade à Oppède le Vieux et Volonne ; Restauration de la chapelle Saint Michel à la Roque Alric et la chapelle Saint Georges à Alleins.

Unterkunft
Accommodation is often in a camp, in tents. There is a common space "hard" or under a marabout. The volunteers organize the daily tasks themselves (cooking, cleaning) as well as the activities to discover the territory.
L'hébergement se fait souvent en campement, sous tente. Il y a un espace commun «en dur» ou sous un marabout. Les bénévoles organisent eux-mêmes les tâches quotidiennes (cuisine, ménage) ainsi que les activités de découverte du territoire.

During the stay, they work in the morning on the construction site: restoration of dry stone walls, coatings, enhancement of a site, in the afternoons and weekends they leave to discover the region: walks, visits, hikes , exhibitions, concerts...
Au cours du séjour, ils travaillent le matin sur le chantier : restauration de murs en pierres sèches, enduits, valorisation d'un site, les après-midis et week-ends ils partent à la découverte de la région : balades, visites, randonnées, expositions, concerts...
