5 years ago, my partner and I acquired an old farmhouse that has not been occupied for 20 years surrounded by 5 hectares of meadows and woods. This place was the starting point of our farm reception project (cultivation of aromatic, medicinal plants and guest rooms)
The whole is a farm whose house, built in 1932 and its older outbuildings, is set back from the little-used municipal road. All of the buildings are positioned in the center of 5 hectares of agricultural land and oak wood.
This location guarantees a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The dovecote of 1861 and the attached barn confirm the agricultural character and add a note of charm and authenticity to the whole.
The project :
- The guest rooms: The stone house will house the main house on the ground floor and the guest rooms on the first floor, four in number.
- Agricultural development: For thirty years the agricultural land around the property has been used to feed cows. In order to restore their potential, live hedges have been replanted to structure the space, regenerate animal populations and recreate a biodynamic balance.
An orchard of fruit trees of ancient species (cherry, plum, almond ...) has been planted. It is carried out using an agro-forestry method.
We have two cats, Buxus and Patouille and our 7 pullets participate in the life of the farm.

Il y a 5 ans, ma compagne et moi, avons acquis un ancien corps de ferme non occupé depuis 20 ans entouré de 5 hectares de prairies et bois. Ce lieu a été le point de départ de notre projet d'accueil à la ferme (culture de plantes aromatiques, médicinales et chambres d’hôtes)
L'ensemble est une ferme dont la maison construite en 1932 et ses dépendances plus anciennes, sont en retrait par rapport au chemin communal peu fréquenté. L'ensemble des bâtiments est positionné au centre de 5 hectares de terres agricoles et d'un bois de chênes.
Cet emplacement est l'assurance d'une atmosphère calme et tranquille.
Le pigeonnier de 1861 et la grange accolé viennent confirmer le caractère agricole et ajoutent une note de charme et d'authenticité à l'ensemble.
Le projet :
- Les chambre d'hôtes : La maison en pierre abritera au rez de chaussée l'habitation principale et au premier étage les chambres d'hôtes au nombre de quatre.
- Développement agricole : Depuis trente ans les terres agricoles autours de la propriété sont utilisées pour nourrir les vaches. Afin de redonner du potentiel à celles-ci, des haies vives ont été replantées pour structurer l'espace, régénérer les populations animales et recréer un équilibre biodynamique.
Un verger d'arbres fruitiers d’espèces anciennes (cerise, prune, amande ...) à été planté. Il est mené en méthode agro-forestière.
Nous avons deux chats, Buxus et Patouille et nos 7 poulettes participent à la vie de la ferme.

All the buildings are located north of the municipality of Montauban on agricultural land, at the edge of orchards and close to the Aveyron river.
Nearby cities: Toulouse, Cahors and Albi are 50 km away.
The site is close to all amenities and many tourist places:
- The village of Lamothe-Capdeville, less than a kilometer away, offers a sandy beach at the edge of a swimming pool on the Aveyron river, all overlooked by a beautiful mill.
- Several departures for hiking and biking trails are located nearby.
- The historic center of Montauban is 6 kilometers away
- Saint Antonin Noble Val, Lalbenque, Saint Cirq Lapopie or Montaigu de Quercy are around an hour away.
L'ensemble des bâtiments est situé au nord de la commune de Montauban sur des terres agricoles, en limite de vergers et proche de la rivière de l'Aveyron.
Les villes à proximités : Toulouse, Cahors et Albi sont à 50 km.
Le site est à proximité de toutes les commodités et de nombreux lieux touristiques :
- Le village de Lamothe-Capdeville à moins d'un kilomètre, offre une plage de sable au bord d'un bassin de baignade sur la rivière de l'Aveyron, le tout surplombé par un beau moulin.
- Plusieurs départs de chemin de randonnée et de pistes cyclables se situent aux alentours.
- Le centre historique de Montauban est à 6 kilomètres
- Saint Antonin Noble Val, Lalbenque, Saint Cirq Lapopie ou Montaigu de Quercy sont à environ une heure de route.
