An authentic camel safari run from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan nearby Jaisalmer Fort Gate. The safaris can run from 1 to 10 days based on preference. We take you 70 Km into the Mughol Desert for a non-touristic camel safari adventure.
For volunteers, we need help at our Guest House in the town of Jaisalmer. We need volunteers that know the needs of guests, can help around the guest house, and can help with internet/email/bookings.
Here is a little more about the Safaris we run:
This camel safari is a nontouristic, authentic Thar Desert experience. Sebastian has 9 years of experience growing up as a camel boy himself in a village called Padiyari Ki Dhani near Kuldara Village. He learned English while leading camel safaris and is now helping travelers in Jaisalmer. The company is completely run by desert people so cultural and language exchange is encouraged. Sebastian's family owns 13 of their own camels (8 males, 5 females).
Food is cooked by wood fire and guests sleep under the stars on a blanket matress. Escape from it all with no light or electricity.
Before the safari begins, guests are taken by jeep 70 Km. into the desert. They are able to see oasises and interact with many different cultures including Gypsy People, Muslim, and Hindus. Guests are able to go on safaris ranging from 1 to 10 days and can choose if they would like to go as a couple or with a larger group.
