  We live in countryside in south piemonte. (Langhe region)
  From many years my husband and me are involved in wine production and tourists hospitality.
  We have two kids (boys: 8 and 6 year old). In april, in the same time when in wineyard starts the work aroud plants, first tourists come in the region. Hosting them in our agriturismo, immediatly we have to organize all usual family activities for several people: breakfast hall and food, rooms and terrace setup, cellar visit and wine tasting. Following kids needs, private house and life as well.
  So, this is the reason because we decide find voluntary help.

  In the region there are very old wine and gastronomy traditions, what we try to show every days to guests is exemple of this tradition. And normally during theyr staying, they mix wine and food suggestions with green and country relax as walking, biking out to the hills, visiting castels and finding loveling landscapes. Those are the same opportunity for volunteer in free time.
  Bigger cities around us are Alba (10 min by bus), Cuneo and Torino (1 hour bus+train) and the sea is easy to join for one day trip by car.
  Our family makes tipical red wines in organig way from 40 years and we are proud to share our experience with everybody who is curius in this life style.

  Arbeit

  Our day, in this season, will start around 7:00, kids get up and have to be prepared for breakfast and school where they arrive at 8:30 by car and walking. At the same time breakfast hall for guest and terrace have to be ready.
  Three days a week, kids take lunch at school so they are out till 16:30, in the other days we are togheter for lunch and dinner.
  In the afternoon may be we are occupied in:
  showing cellar and wine tasting;
  gardening;
  kids needs about school and extra activities.
  Anyway often the order of activities can be different, but always it is shared with us. And it is sure there won’t be a day equal to another!

  Unterkunft

  We provide to volunteer a small flat in the same courtyard of us and where you can easily meet our dog, cats,chickens, and our house as a base for lunch and dinner.

  French, german and italian guys visited and stayed with us in the last 6 springs and summers, and my husband was in the past a workawayer too (farm and cellar in USA and France)
