  Hello! We are a couple of 40 years undertaking a future ecotourism project in the mountains, 15 km from Ripoll.
  
  The farm has fruit trees, also a forest of oak, pines and beech trees and farming terraces.
  
  There are many mountain bike circuits around and it is a mountainous area with many walks to go hiking in the middle of nature at 600-1000 meters of altitude as well as sites of historical and cultural interest to get to know the area.
  
  On the farm there is an old stone building that we are currently restoring, so we need experienced help to do carpenter, contruction tasks, etc in the building.
  
  This experience is ideal for active and experienced people who love nature and wants to have a period of relaxation as well as develop work helping in reconstruction in contact with the environment.
  
  The finca is very quiet.
  
  By recommendation of some friends who already use this platform, we think that Workaway experience will be good for both parties, and that's why we open our project for the exchange even prior to its official opening, and we invite you to be part of it.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  The travelers will make a cultural exchange with each other and with us. But for the time, not so much time to practice with language as we will be major part of time busy finishing as maximum possible tasks before winter... They also will participate actively in the tasks described above that involve farm building restoration, gardening, and the natural environment where we are. We will explain clearly what are the tasks and the ways to perform them, as well as provide the materials and participate with them whenever we can. We like to share talks, knowledge about sustainable and alternative ways of life and friendship with people from other places and by our way of life we are very used to it.

  Arbeit

  This season we are going to finish the principals contruction. So we need people with experience in buildings or as carpertners. We are looking for self-sufficient, dynamic people, with manual skills and preferably experience in the mentioned tasks and with your own vehicle or bike, but this last is not essential.

  Unterkunft

  Our intention is to create a group of up to 4 people who can share accommodation in a Yurt or their caravans. House will bnot be 24 h open. At the moment the kitchen is not finished as the house is under construction so we have an under roof open place functioning as kitchen 24 h with all the basic as well as the exterior eco-bathrooms..also in the house we have a finished interior common bathroom with shower. The house has electricity, water, 4G coverage and wifi. The open kitchen has a fridge, stove, grill oven and typical kitchen elements. We will provide food to be prepared by the group, also all had to be at charge of kitchen, bath, yurt cleaning...the diet will be adapted to the group.

  We expect 5 hours (depending on the task) of collaboration in exchange of accommodation and food, 5 days a week. We hope that outside of these hours you will enjoy the environment, which has a privileged landscape, or we can also offer more hour till complete full day of work earning money. The nearest town is 20-25 minutes by car or near 1 hour walking on mountain trails. The larger cities nearby are Vic and Ripoll. The location is pretty close to Pyrenees.
