We are an intercultural living experiment, devoted to gathering and sharing knowledge about peace, exploring sustainable ways of living environmentally, socially and spiritually. It is a place in which we wish to live in a holistic way, approaching peace work from multiple levels.
We offer workshops, trainings, gatherings, weekly classes, desert trips and community processes which bring together Palestinians, Israelis and Internationals.
We invite volunteers to come short or long term, we do ask for a commitment of 5 days a week to start with and can be more flexible with volunteers who decide to stay with us longer. Our volunteer program is rich in content and in diverse types of work. So please do talk to us if you have any questions.
Maintaining our space include: emptying the compost toilets, gardening, washing dishes, cooking, shopping, collecting dry matter for the compost system, gathering wood, building and developing the facilities. It also includes hosting guests, coordinating events, facilitating circles, responding to challenges which can arise amongst an intercultural community and future development planning.

Every day we start and end the day with 1 space care hour which means emptying compost toilets and making sure the space is beautiful to host all our guests.
The rest of the help varies from developing the garden, preparing the space for workshops, hosting guests and visitors, building and setting up new structures, repairing things where needed, putting up shade nets, developing new ecological systems, making craft for our art shop and much more.
We invite all our visitors to also bring their own inspiration and welcome suggestions for the project development.

More than two
We try to create a space where people from different backgrounds will feel safe to meet. We can all learn one from each other: how to listen, how to teach, how to live together. The main aim is how to engage in a non violent way and how to create more peace within us and in contact with others around us.
4-5 hours max 25 hours a week
In developing countries (Where most hosts are involved in charity work or community development) some of our hosts may ask for a small donation to help the host family or charity (often less then 5 dollars per day) Workaway will allow this listing when the donation goes directly to the family or charity and is just to cover the cost of the volunteers stay. (This will be clearly marked on the host listing).
We will strictly not allow listings posted by agents, “middle men” or projects who we feel are looking to profit from a volunteers stay.
