    UPDATE:

The minimum stay with us is for 2 weeks, please do not apply if you can not fulfill the two week minimum. We are about 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Good to know: we do not have WiFi but there is an Internet cafe close by for any people needing it. I suggest getting a SIM card at the airport if you can not live without internet access.

Volunteers are expected to contribute to the value of the resort, but at the same time, have tons of fun!

We are looking for help with tourists, general maintenance and more. Energy and enthusiasm are a must. So is punctuality.

Daily tasks for the volunteers are separated into 2 main roles: Roaming on weekends when the resort is busiest, and Projects which will be for slow days on the weekdays.

Roaming is more into interacting with the guests, keeping the resort in order while walking around and bringing guests together with some fun activities.

Projects means fixing or making new games, painting signs and basically letting your creativity run free.

We are creating a new project, which involves helping the many wonderful staff practice their English skills. Which will help volunteers get to know the amazing staff and creating an exchange for both volunteers and staff.

We are also starting teaching classes for the local villagers so that we can give back to them, for allowing the creation of this beautiful resort on their land.

Food and accommodation will be provided, as well as Airport Pick-Up and Drop-Off.

During down times, you are encouraged to enjoy yourself soaking in the turquoise lake, jumping from our diving platforms, enjoying the views from the top of the limestone hill, or even to take a stroll and visit the indigenous villages that surround the property. We also have a zip-line and many fun games located around the resort.

    Accommodation

We have one cabin with air conditioning and bunk beads where our volunteers sleep. We have a total of 8 beds, but only host 6 volunteers at a time. So you will be sharing a room with 5 other people at any given time.

At any time, upon availability, volunteers can try out our tents, hammocks or bamboo huts.

    3 meals/day are provided.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are blessed with staff made out of Malaysian, Pakistani and Indonesian cultures. Volunteering alongside the staff will offer plenty of time for cultural exchange! Our staff is always curious about who our volunteers are, why they are traveling and about the customs and traditions of their home country! Becoming friends with the staff is actually one of the best things our former volunteers said they experienced in our resort. You can of course pick up on some Malay words and phrases, during work hours and staff meals. Makan Makan!

Also, our guests are mostly Malaysian and they love getting to know our volunteers and sharing with you their time and friendship. Prepare to take hundreds of selfies!

Additionally our resort is on land owned by Orang Asli (local villagers) and many of our staff members come from these surrounding villages. Sometimes we even get a chance to take part in an indigenous event in the village nearby.
