we are 4 french, Maël 26, Loïs 29, Tristan 27 and Benjamin 28 years old.
Our plan is to build a wooden hostel in North Columbia, on the Caribbean coast, next to a small fishing village named Capurgana.
The site is located by the seaside, on a small bay between the tropical forest and the Caribbean sea.
The ground is 2500m² big, we have already built the main structure that will serve as bar, restaurant and meeting / resting area. Around it, we are building bungalows that are spread on the whole surface of the ground and that will serve as accomodations.

You will get the opportunity to merge into the Columbian culture since we work everyday with the locals.
You will also get the chance to practice and improve your Spanish with the local workers and your French with us.
Do you fancy living in the heart of nature ? Here, you will find no cars, no motorbikes but only dugout canoes and mules !
We are building wooden bungalows and are looking for some workforce.
There is no specific skills required, except that you must be motivated and cheerful.
Obviously, if you have skills on building, lumber or gardening, it will be much appreciated.

We will all be in the same boat!
We sleep in hammocks hanging in some of the already built housing.
The sanitary facilities are still rather precarious but we are working on it.
The site is equipped with electricity and wi-fi.
We all have lunch together, dinner can be more private.
You will sleep in the dormitory or the hammock; depends on the available site.
we offer 3 meals a day.
Though the hostel is located in the jungle, the beach and its activities are very close (3 min walking).
If you like seaworld, you can take your fins, your snorkel and your diving mask and go swimming in the beautiful El Aguacate bay.
If you go scuba-diving, you may be able to see small reef-sharks, turtles, sting-rays and all kinds of fish and colorful corals.
And why not fishing with Capurgana fishermen ?
If you are more of a hiking-in-the-forest fellow, don’t forget to look up to see monkeys, sloths, toucans, raptors, parrots, haras and so on…. !
On your way, you will also cross impressive ants, as well as all kinds of frogs, spiders and even some felines if you are lucky !
Going to Capurgana or Acandi by boat will take you 10 to 20 minutes.
Of course, you can also walk there, which will take longer but will enable you to appreciate a nice and sporty trail.
We are currently working on a « chilling area » at the hostel and soon you will be able to enjoy volleyball, basketball and boules fields .
