  Description

  My name is Janeth, Colombian, currently resident in the city of Riohacha, La Guajira. I have the expectation of carrying out a community project. The approach as such of my project THE PERMACULTURE: "REBUILDING DREAMS FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS" !!! Its purpose is to take to the Wayuu communities (Villa Fátima) recreational spaces, where a Sustainable and Alternative School will be created that allows the dissemination of its culture in an integral way (Art workshops from the different sources ... dance, theater, music, computer science , conscious feeding, home garden, recycling, production of products with waste materials, handicrafts, etc.). In addition to strive for the improvement of the environment by providing a quick solution to the management of garbage, creating a prosperous, self-sustainable neighborhood and an example of Wayuu communities.
  The Workawayer will benefit from a cultural exchange since foundation workshops will be held to enrich the project where it will alternate with people from the community sharing experiences and creative strategies for the development of the same; being this environment a magical place of experimentation.

  Mi nombre es Janeth, Colombiana, actualmente residente en la ciudad de Riohacha, La Guajira. Tengo como expectativa realizar un proyecto comunitario. El planteamiento como tal de mi proyecto LA PERMACULTURA: “RECONSTRUYENDO SUEÑOS PARA GENERACIONES FUTURAS”!!! Busca como finalidad llevar a las comunidades Wayuu (Villa Fátima) espacios de esparcimiento, en donde se levantará una Escuela Sostenible y Alternativa que permita la divulgación de su cultura en forma integral (Talleres artísticos desde las diferentes fuentes… danza, teatro, música, informática, alimentación consciente, huerta casera, el reciclaje, elaboración de productos con materiales de deshecho, artesanías, etc.) Además propender por el mejoramiento del entorno dando pronta solución al manejo de las basuras, creando así un barrio prospero, autosostenible y ejemplo de las comunidades wayuu.
  El Workawayer se beneficiará de un intercambio cultural ya que se realizaran talleres de fundamentación para enriquecer el proyecto donde se alternara con personas de la comunidad compartiendo experiencias y estrategias creativas para el desarrollo de las mismas; siendo este entorno un lugar mágico de experimentación.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Travelers will benefit from a cultural exchange as they will share with these indigenous Wayuu people carrying out activities with a sustainable approach, working as a team where knowledge is shared and the fruits are seeds for future generations.
  When you enter, your being will become more human as you come to share and live experiences with this indigenous Wayuu community, encounters with science, technology, art¡¡¡ ... Know their tastes, experiences, and knowledge ancestral ... you will know why the Wayuu backpack and all the charms in his Art.
  They will also learn about the different cultural mixtures between indigenous, black and white, making us more human.
  They will know and also have contact with the artisanal fishermen who will invite us to a day of fishing where we will live the closest experience of what Fishing means.
  Another of the charms is that we have a Mangrove and the Sea nearby where we will live unforgettable experiences such as sunrises, sunsets and bird watching.
  
  Los viajeros se beneficiarán de un intercambio cultural ya que compartirán con estas poblaciones indígenas de la etnia Wayuu realizando actividades con enfoque sostenible, realizando un trabajo en equipo donde los saberes sean compartidos y los frutos sean semillas para generaciones futuras.
  Cuando se ingresa, tu ser se hará mas humano ya que vienes a compartir y vivir experiencias con esta comunidad indígena Wayuu, encuentros con la ciencia, la tecnología, el Arte¡¡¡... Conocer sus gustos, experiencias, y saberes ancestrales... conocerán el porque de la mochila Wayuu y todos los encantos en su Arte.
  Aprenderán también sobre las diferentes mezclas culturales entre indígenas, negros y blancos, haciéndonos así más humanos.
  Conocerán y también tendrán contacto con los pescadores artesanales los cuáles nos invitaran a un día de faena donde viviremos la experiencia mas cercana de lo que significa la Pesca.
  Otro de los encantos que es que tenemos muy cerca un Manglar y el Mar donde viviremos experiencias inolvidables como amaneceres, atardeceres y avistamiento de aves.

  Help

  For the construction of this fabric we require people with knowledge in bio-construction, agriculture, carpentry, conscious feeding, teamwork and community work to complement the locations that will make up the Sustainable Alternative School and develop environmental awareness campaigns in the vicinity of the community teaching this way to correct the management of garbage, love and care for the environment since we are very close to a mangrove and the Caribbean Sea.
  
  A self-teaching space will be created, with a sustainable approach, involving the Wayuu population and carrying out teamwork where knowledge is shared and the fruits are seeds for future generations.
  Among the activities to perform are:
  Bio-construction workshop (kitchen and bathroom)
  Orchard workshops
  Living ceiling
  Dry bath
  Cleaning day in the surroundings of the community (team work on recycling, handling of compost)
  Alternative activities of dance, music, theater
  
  Para la construcción de este tejido requerimos de personas con conocimientos en bio-construcción, agricultura, carpintería, alimentación consciente, trabajo en equipo y trabajo comunitario para complementar las locaciones que conformarán la Escuela Alternativa Sostenible y desarrollar campañas de concientización ambiental en los alrededores de la comunidad enseñando así a corregir el manejo de las basuras, amor y cuidado por el medio ambiente ya que estamos muy cerca a un manglar y al mar caribe.
  Se creará un espacio de autoaprendizaje, con un enfoque sostenible, que involucre a la población wayuu y realice un trabajo en equipo donde se comparte el conocimiento y los frutos son semillas para las generaciones futuras.
  Entre las actividades a realizar se encuentran:
  Taller de bioconstrucción (cocina y baño).
  Talleres de huerta
  Techo habitable
  Baño seco
  Jornada de limpieza en los alrededores de la comunidad (trabajo en equipo en reciclaje, manejo de compost).

  Accommodation

  Free accommodation will be offered. The accommodation is located in a natural environment. A cabin was established for the volunteers that has two rooms with two simple beds, first floor in mud and second floor in wood) bathroom, kitchen and living room.
  
  We will gladly offer you the three meals and the accommodation for a total of 25 hours per week.
  
  Se ofrecerá acomodación gratuita. El alojamiento está ubicado en un entorno natural. Se estableció una cabaña para los voluntarios que cuenta con dos habitaciones con dos camas sencillas, primer piso en barro y segundo piso en madera) baño, cocina y sala de estar.
  
  con gusto se les ofrecerá las tres comidas y el alojamiento para un total de 30 horas por semana; en común acuerdo se compartirá la compra de productos para el alimento.

  In the free time, the volunteer will be able to carry out alternative activities within the city and will be able to visit the touristic places of the region, planned within the development of the tasks.
  The project is located in a sector a few kilometers from the beach.
  Within the city, transportation costs are cheap and distances are short. It is possible to be transported by taxi or motorcycle taxi.
  
  
  En los tiempos libres el voluntario podrá realizar actividades alternas dentro de la ciudad y podrá visitar los lugares turísticos de la región, planeado dentro del desarrollo de las labores.
  El proyecto está localizado en un sector a pocos kilometros de la playa.
  Dentro de la ciudad, los costos de transporte son económicos y las distancias son cortas. Es posible transportarse en taxi o mototaxi.
