    Description

    Small mountain town Špindlerův Mlýn is situated in the heart of the country's highest mountain range, the Krkonoše (an Arctic island in the middle of Europe), bordering mountain range of the Czech Republic and Poland. It is a well-known destination for thousands of skiers and snowboarders not only from the Czech Republic but also from Poland, Germany, Netherlands and other European countries. It is the real center of winter sports. Špindlerův Mlýn It is located 575 – 1555 m above sea level and its history have been written since the 16th century.

    WINTER SEASON /December - April/

    We are the operator of Ski resort in Špindlerův Mlyn. We run many operations within the town, such as chairlifts, lifts, we take care of slopes and its daily grooming and we also run some restaurants and apres ski bars, sport and fashion shops, ski & equipment rentals and also a ski school. Everything starts and ends with tourists and weather.

    SUMMER SEASON /May - October/

    We have an amazing mountain bike trail, summer tubing what we have to take care of. Operate bike, boat, mountain tricycles rentals and shops and run some restaurants with beautiful views all over the resort. Everything starts and ends with tourists and weather.

    We offer volunteers some unique experience obtained in our various operations in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains and forests. Meeting like-minded people and new friends from different corners of the world. Learning about host country's culture.

    We offer our helpers an allowance - the equivalent of the minimum wage within our country, as part of the exchange. Part of this will be offset by the food and accommodation.

    Due to local law restriction, we are allowed to accept only those volunteers who are either EU citizens or those, who are not older than 26.

    On free time

    WINTER SEASON /December - April/

    skiing and snowboarding with free season ski pass, hiking and cross-country skiing in surrounding Giant Mountains. Free enjoying of other activities town has to offer - sledding, ice skating, free bus transportation around town.

    There is also sled slopes and climbing ice-wall and snow tubing available to try every day.

    SUMMER SEASON /May - October/

    Mountain biking on our trails, try the boats or have fun in the adventure park. Try our tennis courts or disc golf, mountain tricycles. Enjoy hiking right in the heart of the National Park Krkonoše Mountains.

    Free accommodation. Free meals (3 per day during the main season, 2 per a day during offseason). The traditional Czech cuisine is heavier, sauce- and meat-based so vegetarian options are available; however, as this is not a common dietary trend in the Czech Republic, options may be limited. Free season lift pass. Free rental. Meeting tourists from Czech, Germany, Poland, Netherlands and Slovakia and sharing experience from traveling. Be a part of an international team and experience what is it like to live in the mountains - national park.
