    Description

"Established in 1976, our property began its journey as the vibrant a 26-room adventure ecolodge. However, the unexpected twists of the pandemic led us to temporarily close our doors. Today, with renewed spirit and vision, we're excited to reintroduce ourselves as Lodge. Spanning a vast 100,000 square meters, our goal is to craft a sanctuary that is deeply connected to the rhythms of nature and offers an oasis of calm in our bustling world.

We're not just reopening a lodge; we're reviving a sanctuary. We invite you to be a part of this tranquil rebirth. If you're a kindred spirit who cherishes the peace and serenity nature brings, and wishes to contribute to a harmonious space, then we welcome you to join our family. Let's together shape Lodge into a serene haven where every moment is a gentle embrace of nature."

Our rebirth isn't just about reopening doors; it's about reviving a haven. At the heart of Lodge, our initiatives include:

    - Developing a permaculture-based food garden.
    - Crafting functional landscapes.
    - Creating medicinal and culinary gardens.
    - Engaging in homesteading and animal husbandry.
    - Pioneering sustainable and innovative construction.
    - Cultivating a sense of community living.
    - Promoting holistic medicine and nutrition.

To ensure the seamless realization of these dreams, we are seeking individuals who:

    Value Punctuality:

    - Dedicate five (5) hours daily to the lodge's vision.
    - Offer flexibility on Fridays.

Are Committed and Driven: Passionate souls ready to assist in our transition and maintain a constructive attitude - during the transformative phases.

Have an Eagerness to Learn: Embrace every facet of this journey, valuing the abundant learning and growth opportunities presented.

However, if you're simply in search of an obligation-free travel opportunity, Lodge may not align with your quest. We're forging a community built on shared aspirations, mutual respect, and an unwavering commitment to nature and serenity."

At the heart of our journey lies our most precious priority - Mila Sofia, our radiant 14-month-old baby (though she might be a tad older when you're reading this!). In Jarabacoa, our beloved hometown, dedicated spaces that nurture and foster early child development are sparse.

We're on a quest to find someone with a genuine affection for children and a sprinkle of experience. Your role? Craft enchanting adventures and imaginative programs for our darling Mila, allowing us moments during the day to concentrate on various essential activities around the lodge.

We are blessed to have six wonderful dogs on our property—three are our personal pets, and three belong to the lodge. We're seeking a skilled dog trainer who is well-versed in positive reinforcement techniques to help train them. Our goal is for our dogs to warmly and professionally welcome and interact with all our visitors. If you have the expertise and passion to transform our dogs into the perfect hosts, we'd love to hear from you!

But our vision for Lodge doesn't just stop there. As we evolve, our needs grow diverse, and we are in search of individuals who bring a range of skill sets to the table. Specifically, we are keen on welcoming those with expertise in:

    - Landscaping
    - Permaculture
    - Hotel Guest Services/Front Desk
    - Web Design
    - Digital Marketing
    - Graphic Design
    - Healthy Lifestyle Advocacy
    - Yoga Instruction

However, if your skill set extends beyond what's listed, and you feel you possess a unique ability that would enrich our project, we wholeheartedly encourage you to reach out. Every hand, every heart, and every skill can make a world of difference in realizing our dream.

Feel free to reach out to us, about interests in any one of these.
