    Description

We are looking for two staff from December 10, 2024 until mid March 2025. Must have permission to work in Japan. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Japanese/English) with experience in lodge management. We offer a private staff room which is ideal for a couple. This is a paid position. Payment amount will depend on the experience of the candidate.

We are looking for a respectful, enthusiastic, self-motivated couple to help us maintain our lodge. General routine cleaning (showers, toilets, kitchen), making beds, snow clearance, check-in guests, happy to chat with guests, some handyman skills would be ideal. Someone who is happy to wake up early, not a party person.

Our lodge is in Nozawa Onsen, a Traditional Japanese ski village in Nozawa Onsen, Japan. Nozawa is a famous onsen town with 13 hot springs to soak in. It is one of the best ski resorts in Japan.

We are located a few minutes walk from the ski resort chairlifts.

Staff receive one day off per week.

Nozawa Onsen is a quiet traditional village with a lot of history and friendly local neighbours and this is why we love it. We try our best to promote and maintain this atmosphere. The majority of our guests are families.

In your free time, you can ski, soak in the onsen, or explore the village.

We look forward to hearing from you.

We are english speaking and so are the majority of our guests. Staying and working in a small village in Japan is in itself a fantastic cultural experience. Nozawa Onsen is over 1000 years old and families have been in the village for many generations. From using the local Onsens, the day to day activities will allow use of Japanese language and taking on the infamous Japanese recycling system which is an experience in itself.
