    Description

We are a charity for orphaned, abandoned, vulnerable and abused young girls in Colombia. Our mission is to give to these girls the opportunity for an education so providing prospects of a proper future, which would otherwise not be open to them. By nurturing the girls (aged 5-16) through a holistic personal development program, we give them with an education in music, arts and English Language. This results in restoring their confidence and self-esteem and creates the foundation to fulfil their potential in life. The girls, some of whom have had deeply traumatic lives, benefit from this as the music serves as therapy to help them to trust, engage and interact again. As you no doubt will agree, learning music at an early age has been proven to enhance abilities in many areas of personal development.

All sorts of people volunteer for many different reasons, but one thing that unites them all is that they find it challenging, rewarding and varied.

Volunteering can add a great deal to your life and the lives of those for whom you volunteer. It offers you a chance to become involved in a project or with an organisation you really care about as well as an opportunity to meet new and like-minded people. It also gives you the chance to try out something different to your 'everyday' job, which may lead on to new career options.
