    The hike to Preikestolen/Pulpit Rock is one of Norways´s most amazing hiking trips. The stunning cliff rising 604 meter above Lysefjorden is one of the natural wonders of Norway, visited by more than 300 000 people every year.

    Our lodge is only 1 hours drive from the oilcity Stavanger. It's also the perfect startingpoint for many other breathtaking hikingroutes in the area like Kjerag and Flørli.

    Our guests can enjoy many exciting activities, such as canoeing, SUP (Stand Up Paddling), trampoline, slackline, zipline, climbing, swimming, fishing, vollyball/fotball or bisyckling.

    Please remember that you must have either European Health Insurance Card or a valid travelincurance.

You MUST have several seasons experience from a property with more then 20 rooms. Salary is based on the collective salaryagreement between the work unions and the hospitalityindustri in Norway. Type of education, years of relevant experience and personal suitability is key.

    FREE Staff has private and shared rooms. There are several bathrooms, a nice kitchen, laundryroom with washingmachine, a cozy lounge and huge terrasse with lovely views of the water.

    You can experience the nearby mountain scenery of the Pulpit Rock, Kjerag and Lysebotn, renowned locations for extreme sports such as rock climbing and basejumping. These are Norways most popular and famous touristdestinations and over 400 000 tourists from around the world come to see these mountains each year.

    If you wanna go to the city Stavanger you can take the bus that goes once in a while. Stavanger is a busy city with excellent museums, of which the Petroleum Museum is ranked as the best. The bay area Vågen is housing some of the city’s original trading houses and fish depots. The area is also renowned for its streetart, bustling nightlife and excellent restaurants, serving everything from international standards to old traditional Norwegian fish dishes. During summer this part of the city transforms into a haven of concerts, outdoor restaurants and beautiful old wooden boats. In july 250,000 foodies, families and chefs from all over the world will gather in Stavanger for Norway’s biggest food festival, Gladmat.
