    Description

We are a no nonsense family with 3 children (10, 7 and 6 yr old), living in a small village in the middle of The Netherlands. At this moment we are at the begin of building our dreamhouse, which includes a very large garden.
We are currently working on the chicken-house and the shed, but also working in the garden where a lot of work can be done in maintenance and new projects.
We have a lot beautiful nature in the near surroundings. However the big cities are accessable in 30-60mins (car or public transport).

We'd like you to be a part of the family. Experience the life of an average Dutch family in a small village. Having the possibility to go out into the nature, going on citytrips or learning the Dutch languague. And we hope we can show you the open Dutch culture.

  • Help

    Help

Your two main focusses will be our kids and the garden. The kids are eager to learn foreign languague (pref. English) but als enjoying them, bring them to school etc is part of it.
Besides that, the garden will need attention. Depending on your garden skills and the season, there is enough to do. Mowing, helping with the fruit trees or our vegatables. And we also could use some help with buidling some sheds etc in our garden.
If wanted, doing some cooking of other work in/around the house is possible. Let's discuss your skills and our needs!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We are building a place to stay in our barn, so you'll be sleaping at the attic of the house (clean and warm, but not too big).

We also would have space for a camper or caravan. All other facilities will be shared at our home (toilet, shower, kitchen etc).

  • What else ...

    What else ...

As you'll be our first Workawayer, it will be a journey for all of us. As mentioned above, we live very central so the options for trips are immens. Nature, leisure and cities are reachable in 15-60 minutes. We'd like running, making music and having fun with the kids.
Our English is quiet well, French and German are "ok". Italian and Spanish will be understood.
