Description
We, Regis and David, are a married couple who decided to make a life change and leave everything behind to follow a dream: A guesthouse in Provence.
After a long search we have found an amazing property in Gordes in the Luberon Valley. It took us almost a year to renovate and we have started receiving our first guests in the summer of 2017.
We are located in the heart of Provence and Gordes has the classification of one of the most beautiful French villages.
Our property is divided into a private section (our house and garden) and the B&B section for our guests.
In the month of March (pre-season) after a long winter break where we usually go away, we look for help with reopening our house and reviving our garden, while we focus on restarting the B&B side. So we are looking for more of a handy-(wo)mans job.
We both love to meet and entertain people from all over the world. We speak multiple languages (french, english, german, turkish and some spanish). If you are good with easy DYI stuff such as painting etc and you enjoy good company, we think you would be a good match. Please note that we will provide room and board in exchange and we will do our best to show you around our beautiful valley as much as time allows, but there is no other payment involved.Types of help and learning opportunities

You will be staying in Luberon Valley in the heart of Provence, one of the most visited areas in the world. During your stay you will be able to practice your language skills with us, experience the French country side life style and some of its culinary treats as we love cooking and may be able to show you some. You may also discover many authentic villages and cultural sites in the region during your free time. Please note that even though we have bikes for you to discover the immediate vicinity a rental car may give you more flexibility and independence to tour the wider area .
