Description
Hi I'm prometheus in Kos island, Aegean region, Greece.
I enjoy having free spirited people stay with us (i live with my partner, who does not participate in the teaching or exchange )in this little oasis we have created enclosed by large trees and the beach just a 2 minute walk away.
We are both active massage therapists and into healthy (but not fanatic) lifestyle.
I am interested in hosting people who know how to massage, or have a good natural touch.
We both work with massage and therapy work in summers, so in the winter we want to use the time to regenerate, rest.
I am very easy going and flexible and welcome people who wish to break boundaries, explore and grow.
( our style of living is different, we are very open minded, so please be aware of this if you decide to come)
Cooking is solely your responsibility as my and my partners eating habits are different and we don't eat at the same times, plus we are mostly animal based.

Living in an environment which is clean and so close to the sea is more like a vacation rather than a work opportunity.
People who are seeking to recharge their batteries and have genuine connections with similar minded people, who know how to massage and are willing to grow will benefit the most from being here.

I offer accommodation in exchange for receiving daily massages for me(me and sometimes Tara)
NOTE: we don't require guests under any circumstances to offer massages to paying guests here. (the time you are able to stay with us is the time that we don't rent our home anyway, but we just want to make that clear)
Other things such as light gardening is purely optional.
Our environment is a very relaxed one, where you can take the time to get to know yourself through meditation, nature walks and no pressure.
It's a place where we all share and learn from each other.
If you are an amateur in massage but have an interest in it and would like to learn you are also welcome. It's fun to teach it!
Just a few clarifications, we don't accept smoking.

Your own glamping tent /sometimes shared with other workawayers
* if you come during the summer, our house is rented, so the accommodation is a large glamping style tent next to our summer cabin.
At this time our cabin is occupied by us so your accommodation is a large glamping tent with wifi, a fan, a light and a inflatable mattress.
Please understand that we are people who like to share but most important we value our own space, so if you are looking or expecting a type of "always together" kind of thing that's not us.
The daily schedule is something like this:
Prometheus will teach you in mornings and you practice on him,
Then you do your own thing until late afternoons when you can then offer your session on either both or one of us.
Meals are your own responsibility, we do not provide them, but you are free to use our kitchen in cabin to prepare your meals.
Bathroom is a separate unit which we all share and has hot water as well.

She spent a week with us, learning massage, although unfortunately it wasn't the best timing as lots of things happening that needed my attention which took away from lots of the teaching time.
But besides this, highly recommended.
She's responsible, clean, respectful.
Beautiful soul, very useful knowledge of bodywork, a spirit of curiosity to soak up anything new, very giving and fun to be around.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you get the chance to host her, do it without a second thought.
