    Description

We are a young couple in their eatly 30s, with a wannabe young boy who will arrive the next January. Emanuele, the husband, works for an NGO committed in protecting children's rights. Cecilia, the wife, manages two flats and occasionally works as a free-lance in the social networks marketing sector. We are sporty, love to cook, and we fill our apartment of anything we can find in our journeys.
In our house you can always find a good glass of Italian wine and good music.

Torino, where we live, was the first Italian Capital city, before Firenze and Roma. The city has one University and one Polytechnic, has a big community of students coming from all over the world and has more than three neighbourhoods where you can stay till late 7 days a week. We live 15 minutes walk away from the City historic centre, 3 minutes walk from the main city park, which is situated along the main of the four rivers of the city.
Futhermore, Torino hosts more than 50 museums (the National Cinema Museum and the secont world's largest Egyptian Museum are just two of them), and several festivals dedicated to art, music and food throughout the year.
The city has an excellent network of buses, trains, lightrails and underground. The main train station, where fast trains takes you to Milano (45 mins), Venezia (3hrs) Roma (4hrs) and Napoli (5hrs) and the stop for the Airport shuttles are just 2 underground stops from home.
When we don't work and we don't do sports (Cecilia is a volleyball player and Emanuele an aikidoka), we love to walk around the city, visit museums and, sometimes, go to the cinema. We also like to go out with friends, especially for eating. Torino has a large variety of restaurants who can offer you courses from all over the world. If you love to dance, you can choose amongst tens of clubs. If you prefer to drink and relax, you can choose amongst hundreds of bars and pubs. We do love our city, the fourth largest one in Italy after Roma, Milano and Napoli, widely recognised as one of the most elegant in Italy. Did you know that the New York Times chose Torino as the only Italian venue amongst the 40 unknown places in the world worth to be visited in 2016?
