    Description

Field of 13 hectares with 8 of native forest and 5 of meadows.

We have been since 2019, developing a self-sustaining project for healthy eating, good agricultural practices and healthy coexistence. We go for peace, respect for the native peoples and veneration of our ancestors thanks to who we are and are.

We postulate to live in community under firm and healthy statutes of coexistence, listening to young ideas and respecting the experience of the old.

We expect permanent responsibility on the part of the participating actors in order to preserve the harmony of the group.

We are implacable with order, cleaning and recycling as a lesson from the past, having neglected some of these aspects.

To come a good quality sleeping bag is required between March and December.

The rainy season allows volunteering following the rhythm of nature.

To get there from the north you can take a bus to Calbucó at the Puerto Montt bus terminal or from the south, intercept said bus at the intersection of 5 Sur on the way to Calbucó and after arriving in Calbucó get off at the pier from where the bus leaves. barge to Puluqui. The place has a protected refuge and bathrooms, both in Calbucó and in Puluqui. The island has about 7,000 ha, a longitudinal road of 18 km and about 4,000 inhabitants. It lacks an urban center, with several churches, some basic stores and small farmhouses. It also has 5 rural posts, an ambulance and police checkpoint.

There are two buses from Puluqui to Calbuco, which take people from different locations and load cargo on the 8-hour barge to Calbucó. They return on the barge at 2:30 p.m. to their destinations in Puluqui, making a second return only from the Puluqui pier to their destinations on the island at 5:30 p.m. to repeat the return the next morning. In low season there are 6 daily barges to Puluqui, in high season from December to March there are 7 daily barges that strictly comply with their itinerary with rare exceptions due to bad weather. The barge costs $500/person and $6,000/car and anchors at the Puluqui pier for any night emergency.

    Accommodation

For accommodation there are two beds in the living room, arranged around the wood stove. In an effort to avoid contamination of groundwater and waste of drinking water, in addition to the reuse of our own waste in a sustainable way of life, we use ONLY DRY BATHROOMS.
