Description
We are on 12 hectares (30 acres) in Puramahoi, Golden Bay, 9kms from Takaka and The Mussel Inn and 2kms to Patons Rock Beach. Many wonderful walks in the area (Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks). We are running a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) supporting local families, cafes and restaurants.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Travellers will experience a working organic farm in a vibrant community. We run a CSA (community supported agriculture) and we are only one of two in the country. Golden Bay is also a very unique community in NZ with many events and local attractions.

Help
Work includes weeding, planting and harvesting of vegetables. Small-scale building projects too. Looking for workawayers who are keen to learn about CSAs and organic farming. We work along side or helpers and work is completed in the morning allow your afternoons free to explore or go to the beach.

Accomodation will either be in caravan or sleep out with your own kitchen, toilet and shower.
Meals will be on your own. We provide all the basics and you have access to all the veggies in the garden. Plus eggs and homekilled beef.
